15 June, 2011

The farmer's market that we visited every Wednesday last summer is back this year. This is the first time we've actually made it--and we did so just barely. Most of the booths were being packed up by the time we pulled into the parking lot. The folks selling produce seemed to be holding out a little bit longer than the rest of the vendors, though, so we were able to take a look at the fruits and veggies for sale.

I though the texture on this ear of corn was rather neat--especially in black and white.

An ant on one of our dwarf columbines. I liked the contrast of the black ant against the pale pink flower.
