I must admit that I got a laugh out of the timing of today's assignment; today was the first day since the beginning of May that we had overcast skies and rainshowers on and off all day. Admittedly, I could have worked with artificial lighting, but you all know how my camera feels about than and frankly, I much prefer using sunlight in my shadows pics.

The scattered showers coated the gym's windows with sheets of water, revealing the world outside in rippling images. During my cool down, I grabbed my camera and tried to capture the parking lot through the water... and got distracted with a piece of hail that made a brief appearance on the ledge. Unfortunately, I only got one shot of it, as my camera seemed opposed to focusing on a rapidly melting subject.
